1. iPhone 17:

Apple is gearing up for its biggest iPhone launch of the year, expected in September 2025, with the highly-anticipated iPhone 17 series. The lineup is expected to include four models – iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max – with innovative designs and enhanced features.

This series is rumored to introduce a design refresh across all models. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max may feature a sleek aluminum and glass build, while the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will adopt a minimalist look. A horizontal camera layout – a first for Apple – is anticipated for the standard model, while the iPhone 17 Air may feature a single, centrally-positioned rear camera.

Powered by the advanced A19 chip, the series promises superior performance and efficiency. Pro models may offer 12GB of RAM, while the standard and Air versions could feature 8GB. Notable camera upgrades include triple 48MP rear lenses on the Pro Max and a single 48MP camera for the Air. Expected to be Apple’s thinnest phone ever at just 6.25mm thick, the iPhone 17 Air offers an attractive mid-tier option with a 6.6-inch display and sleek design.

3. Nothing Phone 3 :

UK-based smartphone brand Nothing is all set to launch its highly-anticipated Phone 3 in 2025 after a one-year delay. The delay was reportedly due to the company focusing on developing advanced AI technology. However, the Phone 3 has now started appearing on global certification platforms, indicating an imminent launch. The Nothing Phone 2a was a huge success for the brand in 2024, and the Phone 3 is expected to continue this momentum in the mid-to-high-end smartphone market.

The Phone 3 is expected to retain Nothing’s signature transparent back panel and customizable glyph lighting. While the Phone 2 had a dual-camera setup, the Phone 3 is likely to feature a triple camera system, possibly including a telephoto lens. The screen size will be slightly smaller, from 6.7 inches to 6.5 inches, with an AMOLED display that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.

The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and come with 8GB of RAM. It will run on NothingOS 3.0 based on Android 15 and may be equipped with a 5000mAh battery for longer battery life.

4. Xiaomi 15 :

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to launch in 2025 as part of the Xiaomi 15 series, following the success of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the launch, company President Lu Weibing has hinted at its arrival, with its debut speculated to be at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona from March 3-6, 2025, likely on March 2. This timeline aligns with the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra at MWC 2024.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 2K quad-curved display, and an impressive 200MP periscope telephoto camera with a large aperture. The device may also boast IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance and support 90W wired charging. Additionally, it might support satellite communication and wireless charging. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra could launch globally, including in India, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro may remain exclusive to China. The battery specifications of the phone are expected to remain similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
